She was very familiar with our venue and she made a personal connection to our personalities and the style of our event. My husband and I are not “picture people;” we were apprehensive about being in front of the camera (especially for a professional shoot for our wedding reception) but she made us feel really at ease. She captured everything about our event from the portraits to the little design details to sweet candids to awesome action photos on the dance floor, even the food! And she always seemed like she was having a great time doing it. The pictures came out excellent in every level of light indoors and outdoors. The sunset pictures are spectacular and so are the nighttime action shots of the fire dancers that we hired for our entertainment. I will absolutely recommend Carolyn. YOU WANT HER!”

“Carolyn photographed our wedding in September 2014. Her creative eye perfectly captured the spirit and excitement of our special day, with portraits both thoughtful and playful. I was amazed at the shots she got! She was never intrusive, and yet she created some of the most beautiful and intimate portraits of our family and friends I have ever seen. It was especially bittersweet: As a male couple, my husband and I had to wait 18 years to be legally married. My mother, who is in declining health, was able to attend, as our only surviving parent. Our original photo contractor dropped the ball, but Carolyn was there to save our memories. If I could do it all over again I would not hesitate to ask Carolyn to record our special day.”
